Naomi Biden, President Joe Biden's granddaughter, revealed she's pregnant in a politically correct way: posting her baby bump on Election Day.
Biden is expecting her first child with husband Peter Neal. In a chic all-black outfit, Biden cradled her baby bump in a mirror pic posted on her Instagram story Wednesday.
"(We) voted," Biden captioned the post, alongside an American flag emoji and an upside-down smiley face emoji.
Biden, the eldest daughter of Hunter Biden, the president's second son, and Kathleen Buhle, is close to her grandfather, whom she affectionately calls "Pop."
USA TODAY has reached out to the first lady's office for comment.

Biden and Neal tied the knot on the South Lawn at the White House in November 2022. During the ceremony, Biden wore a white, high-neck Ralph Lauren dress and told Vogue at the time that her and first lady Jill Biden "do wedding planning together" and the first lady was "super involved" in the process.
"We're so close to our families, so we always knew we'd get married in someone’s backyard. I think if my pop weren't president, it would probably be their house in Wilmington or Peter's family’s backyard in Jackson (Wyoming)," Biden told Vogue.
Both Biden and Neal are attorneys. Neal is an alum of University of Pennsylvania law school who also serves in the U.S. Army.

After President Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race, his eldest granddaughter spoke out about his exit from the race.
"I’m nothing but proud today of my Pop, our President, Joe Biden, who has served our country with every bit of his soul and with unmatched distinction," Naomi Biden posted on X. "Not only has he been—and will continue to be—the most effective president of our lifetime, but he has likely already cemented himself as the most effective and impactful public servant in our nation’s history."
Earlier this year, Biden testified in her dad's federal gun trial in June about his struggles with substance addiction.
"He seemed great and he seemed hopeful," Naomi Biden said of a meeting with her father in October 2018, around the time he purchased a .38-cal. revolver and allegedly lied on the background form. Questioned by prosecutors, she said, "I knew he was struggling with addiction" after the death of his brother, Beau Biden. "After my uncle died, things got bad."
