Giddy up for fashion.
After all, 2024 People's Choice Country Awards is bringing out the best and brightest in country music. And with Shania Twain hosting the Sept. 26 ceremony at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, you can bet stars are dressing to impress.
But this year's competition is just as fierce as the fashion. In fact, the PCCAs added six new voting categories after its 2023 inauguration—including fan selections for Female Song, Male Song, Group/Duo Song, Cover Song, New Artist Song and Storyteller Song.
Going into the award show, airing live on NBC and Peacock, Zach Bryan leads the pack of nominees with a whopping 19 nods, while Beyoncé—with her country crossover album Cowboy Carter—follows closely behind with 17 nominations.
Other stars up for awards include Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. (See the full list of nominees here.)
As for the night's biggest accolades, Miranda Lambert will follow in the footsteps of the late Toby Keith and be honored with the Country Icon Award.
“A tour de force in country music for more than 20 years, Miranda Lambert’s groundbreaking albums continue to capture the hearts of fans around the world,” Jen Neal—Executive Vice President of Live Events and Specials at NBCUniversal Entertainment—previously said in a statement. “We’re so excited to celebrate her career, fierce individualism and innovation in the industry with the Country Icon Award.”
Meanwhile, Kane Brown will receive the Country Champion Award for his service and groundbreaking contributions to the country music industry and beyond.
And it's not a Nashville party without good music, with Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Machine Gun Kelly (a.k.a. mgk), Keith Urban, Lady A, Parker McCollum and The War and Treaty.
For now, keep reading to see all the red carpet arrivals.
