Christina Hall's home in the country has become an object of contention in her divorce.
The HGTV host's estranged husband Josh Hall is asking the court to prevent or postpone the sale of her $4.5 million farmhouse in Tennessee, which he says he's been living in since their July breakup, according to documents obtained by People.
Josh alleged in the paperwork he and Christina had previously come to a temporary agreement that allowed him to live in the property when it was not being rented out amid their divorce proceedings.
Claiming that he has an "appreciation interest" in the farmhouse due to mortgage payments made during their marriage, Josh said Christina—who bought the home in February 2021, before the couple met—put the place up on the market despite his previous objections to selling it, per the outlet.
Josh said in his filing that his "living expenses will undoubtedly increase" should the house be sold.
E! News has reached out to Christina's rep but hasn't received comment. However, the Flip or Flop alum did file a response to Josh's petition, alleging that she "gave proper and timely notice" to Josh before listing the home, according to People.
She further claimed in her filing that Josh lives with his mother and only uses the farmhouse as a "vacation property."
Christina, 41, and Josh, 44, have been embroiled in a legal battle since their split. Not only do they not agree on exact date of their separation, but Christina has also accused her ex of stealing money from her.
"Quite frankly I am shocked and concerned by the fact that he has diverted over $35,000 of my separate property money to his separate account on July 8, 2024," the Christina in the Country star wrote in court documents previously obtained by E! News. "The fact that this is the same date he now alleges to be our date of separation, even though it is actually July 7, 2024, makes it clear why he chose the next day."
For his part, Josh has denied Christina's allegations, with his rep calling them "false, libelous claims."
"Josh hasn’t stolen a penny from her or her family," Josh's spokesperson told the Daily Mail earlier this month. "This is a red line, and Christina has crossed it."
Christina and Josh first met in March 2021, tying the knot seven months later. The two do not have any children together, though the Christina shares kids Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, with her first husband Tarek El Moussa, as well as son Hudson, 5, with her second husband Ant Anstead.

Sparks flew while Christina and Josh started spending time together. The couple recreated their March 2021 date a year later.
While on vacation for Christina's birthday, the two posed for a photo on the beach and made their relationship Instagram official.
Months in, Christina had a message for any haters, noting she'll "turn off comments with Josh and will continue to do so if people are rude." As she later put it, "Do what you love with the ones you love. For me, that's Josh, my kids and a few close friends and co-workers."
Engaged! One day after celebrating Josh's birthday, Christina confirmed the duo's romance was anything but a flop.
The pair celebrated the spooktacular season with a visit to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
Just a few months later, they marked their first Christmas together.
"Building life together and enjoying some alone time," she captioned this sweet pic. "Love you Josh."
The following month, Christina enjoyed the "Best Valentine's weekend with my Valentine."
"Prayed for a man who was all man but still treated me like his queen," Christina wrote on Instagram just a few days before news of her and Josh's marriage broke. "Never give up."
In April 2022, fans learned that Christina and Josh privately tied the knot. They then celebrated their union with a wedding in Hawaii that September.
"Shared vows in front of family and our close friends," Christina wrote on Instagram Sept. 4. "Everything in life has led me to where I am right now, which is exactly where I want to be. My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love."
It would later be revealed that the two actually wed in October 2021.
The real estate agent celebrated the HGTV star's birthday with a sweet tribute.
"Happy 40th Birthday to my absolute stunner of a wife!" he wrote on Instagram. "This woman has accomplished so much, inspired so many and continues to impress me daily. I can’t say enough about what an absolute force she is and what she is capable of. Christina is about to make her 40’s the best decade of her life and looking better than ever while doing it!I’m a lucky man and thank my lucky stars that she chose me to take this ride with her that is now our life. Ride or die baby, love you more than anything."
Christina and Josh stepped out for a beach day with her French bulldog Cash and his dog Stella.
"Still going strong…" Josh wrote on Instagram alongside photos over the pair from over the past three years. "03/2024 ← 03/2023 ← 03/202← 03/2021."
In July 2024, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and her listing the same in her own court documents.
